Heart Month

With February comes everyone’s favourite celebration or perhaps it should be.  You guessed it. February is Heart month. 
 
If you’ve never taken the time to consider the rates of obesity and the increasing obesity in children, maybe this is the month.  From 1979, 3% of Canadian youth aged 2 to 17 were obese. By 2004 that number ballooned to 8% - an estimated 500,000 obese! An additional 18% of Canadian children and youth are considered overweight. New Addition

New Addition

Exciting Addition – Edward De Nobrega formerly of Renegade Muay Thai is now coaching at DCC. We have relaunched our Muay Thai program with a full schedule of new classes.

Everyone is eligible to try a class. Classes will be Muay Thai only and will heavily focus on technique.

We want to welcome everyone coming to us along from the previous facility!

DCC is proud to announce the addition of our consulting services. These services are available to all “big box” clubs, boot camps, small boutique style facilities or owners.

Services available include:

  • Visit your club
  • Help you figure out which equipment you may want to move in order to take advantage of more dynamic equipment/training
  • Provide a detailed list of “New” or dynamic equipment
  • Provide a tailored training approach that will enable your trainers/coaches to deliver comprehensive “out of your box” training
  • Provide a customized approach that will help standardize your training/trainers and help maximize your revenue

When I first started out my agility was horrible, after I worked on it with Jared at the Dynamic Conditioning Centre it improved. My jumping ability has also increased dramatically which just adds to my game. Thanks for everything that you have done for me I don't think I would have made Team Canada with out the training I received from Jared and Clance.
